Individual Therapy is generally conducted with Adolescents and Adults.
During adolescence, individuals experience one of the most trying emotional phases of their development, which can be a challenge for the individual as well as the family. Individual therapy gives the adolescent the space to be heard and understood in terms of his/her personal experiences. Adolescents typically face relationship difficulties (romantic and peer), family relationship difficulties, divorce, anxiety, bullying (including cyber bullying), peer pressure and exposure to external influences which may be harmful both physically and emotionally.
Similarly, adults experience relationship difficulties, work / career challenges, trauma, and a myriad of other challenges. Therapy provides an outlet for adults to gain perspective and understanding of personal challenges in a confidential and safe environment.
